Attempting a Christmas Photo Shoot

Although I've decided not to send Christmas cards this year due to a few significant reasons: 1) To much work while Brad is away 2) It is hard enough just being pregnant and 3) a photo card doesn't seem complete without the addition of our soon-to-be baby girl. But, I decided to take a few photos anyways or atleast attempt!

Inside pictures were clearly not working with these two silly boys, so, outside we go

^^ Suceess!^^
(If this picture alone didn't capture their two personalities perfectly, I don't know what would)

The day after Thanksgiving...

...is generally spent decorating the house for Christmas, and that is exactly what we did, mixed in with some snow time as well.

All ornanments ended up on the lower half of the tree. In one spot. As much as I tried to resist spreading them out since thats how the boys decorated it, I couldn't help myself. My resistance may have lasted 20 minutes, which I think is an improvement from my normal OCD ;)

And thats a rap

time to enjoy the outdoors

Chicago

Since Brad moved to Ohio (in end of September) he has had quite the travel experience trying to be in Neenah every weekend due to flight delays. So, we decided to beat the system and meet him in Chicago in which he only needed to take a direct flight. It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend. First on our agenda was shopping on Michigan Ave. The boys were troopers! All of them! Then to dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery. The next day we headed to Shedd Aquarium, where we spent most of the day. Then back to the hotel for some swimming and more shopping on Michigan Ave :). Sunday we managed to lay low in the hotel with donuts and coffee. Just us four. Just the way we like it. Of course some more swimming was involved. Once it was time for Cal's nap, Daddy and Liam slipped away to watch the Browns game. Once Cal woke up, we went to Navy Pier until it was time to take Brad back to the airport. Our time was short but we all loved it. Definitely a place to revisit in the future.

Halloween

When your 4 it is just too hard to wait until Halloween to carve pumpkins. So per Liam's request,
this pumpkin was carved the first week of October. Let the spirit of Halloween begin!
