Great Wolf Lodge

We seemed to have created a tradition to head to a waterpark during Cal's birthday weekend and this year was no different, other than we wanted to wait a few weeks after, just to be sure Allie was walking. We decided to go to Great Wolf lodge since we wanted to try something different.  We heard it was one of the smaller waterparks geared for young kids; since the boys are getting older (tear) we figured this was the year to do it while the are still, technically, 'young'.

78th Street Studios

The boys participated in an event called Art Cares Jr.  It is a fundraiser set up to help raise money for AIDS and HIV victims. Children are to create a masterpiece on a blank canvas which will be displayed at 78th Street Studios for a silent auction. 

Since the art show was at night we thought it would be best for Daddy and Allie to stay home and to have Mommy have a night with her boys. Not only were the boys proud to see their artwork 'hanging in a museum' but the time spent with just us three was priceless. I think we all forgot how much we needed and relied on one another a year ago, and how much we missed that time together now. We didn't want the night to end.
